A fully organic Strawberry lambic, brewed in collaboration with Mikkeller. 3 Fonteinen macerated locally hand-picked strawberries on two-year-old lambic, after which the unblended fruit lambic continued to mature in a wooden barrel. A process of no less than nineteen months before bottling results in a deep and complex fruit profile with the unmistakable sourness and complexity of authentic lambic. Brewery 3 Fonteinen from Beersel, Belgium, is recognized worldwide as a respected producer of traditional lambic and gueuze. They are true masters in the process of spontaneous fermentation and blending lambics of different ages, which gives this beer its exceptional depth and characterful nuances. With an alcohol content of 6.5 percent, this 750 ml bottle offers a well-balanced and drinkable fruit lambic that is both fresh and complex. The use of organically grown strawberries and the long maturation in wooden barrels make this an exceptionally rare and artisanal creation.
