How BrewHunter Works

Subscription system for special releases

At BrewHunter, we use a unique subscription system for rare and exclusive beers:

SUBSCRIBE

Want to receive a special release? You can subscribe until the indicated deadline.

WAIT (~1 DAY)

After the subscription deadline has passed, we check if we can reserve this release for you.

SELECTION

We randomly select which subscriptions are successful and who can purchase this release. If selected, you are obligated to pay.

RESULT

If selected, you're one of the lucky ones who gets to order this release. If not, no worries; keep an eye on the app for new releases.

If you are selected for a beer through the subscription system, you are obligated to purchase it. We buy these beers specially for you from the brewery - that's our concept.

"Non-Shippable" items in your cart

It may happen that your won beers appear in the "Non-Shippable Cart". This means:

  • The brewery is still brewing the beer
  • The beer still needs to be bottled
  • The beers are still at our supplier
  • The beers are on their way to our warehouse

We receive an initial date from the brewery for when the beers will arrive, but this is often not a definitive date. The timeline may shift. We try to minimize this by actively checking with the brewery if there are delays.

We appreciate your understanding if the date changes. If you have urgent questions, please contact us.

Directly available beers

In addition to our subscription system, we also have beers that are directly available in the shop. These can be removed from your cart if you decide you don't want them after all.

Referral system

You can find your referral code in the BrewHunter app under "Settings". If you were referred, you can add a friend's referral code on the same page under "Give 10 Get 10".

Your referral credit is automatically applied to the next order you place.

Packaging and safety

Our packages are battle-proof tested and very securely packed so that damage hardly ever occurs. Should this happen in an exceptional case, please contact us and we'll solve it together.

Frequently asked questions

If the beers are reserved and you need to be selected, how can the beers be specially ordered for me?

We work on the basis of subscriptions and bundle them to place an order with the brewer. When a brewery tells us a certain release is only sold per 6 or 12 pieces, we start a post and see if there are enough subscriptions to fill the 6 or 12 spots. Once that succeeds, we place the order.

If there are more subscriptions than available quantities, for example 14, we unfortunately can't serve everyone, as we can't reach the next tier. In that case, we have to disappoint two people.

The same applies if we only get 4 subscriptions, for example. Then we unfortunately can't proceed with the order and have to cancel the subscriptions.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, you can. However, keep in mind that if you have beers in your cart for which you participated in a lottery and won, you must still purchase them as stated in our general terms and conditions.

Can I buy in multiple batches?

Yes, everything in your shippable cart can be purchased at once. But if you have beers in your non-shippable list that are pre-ordered and coming later, you can buy your available beers now and place a new order later for the beers that are then ready. You don't have to wait until all beers are ready for shipping; you can ship in between.
