Statutory right of withdrawal

As a customer, you have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days after receiving your order. Within this period, you can withdraw (cancel) your purchase without giving a reason.

Note: This right of withdrawal only applies to unopened products in the original, undamaged packaging. For beers, they must be unopened and in their original condition.

Important exception: beers via subscription system

An important exception to the right of withdrawal applies to beers purchased through our subscription system. When you are selected after subscribing to a special release, you are obligated to purchase these beers.

This is an essential part of our concept: we purchase these beers specially for you from the brewery based on your subscription. Therefore, it is not possible to withdraw this purchase. This is in accordance with our general terms and conditions that you accept upon subscription.

In case of non-compliance with this obligation, we may engage a collection agency, as legally permitted in the Netherlands.

Return conditions

Which products are covered by the right of withdrawal?

The right of withdrawal applies to all directly available products you purchased in our shop, with the exception of products for which you were selected through the subscription system.

Conditions for returns:

  • Products must be in original, undamaged condition
  • Beer bottles must be unopened
  • The original packaging must be intact
  • Return must take place within 14 days of receipt

⚠️ We cannot accept opened bottles for hygiene and food safety reasons. This is in accordance with Dutch legislation (article 6:230p BW).

Return costs

The costs for returning products are at your expense. We charge a fixed amount of €6.95 for returns from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

This amount will be deducted from the refund amount when your return has been received and approved.

How to return?

Step 1: Report your return

Contact us at info@brewhunter.nl to report your return. Include your order number and which products you want to return.

Step 2: Pack your products

Carefully pack the products in the original packaging or in a suitable replacement packaging to prevent damage during transport.

Step 3: Ship your package

Bring your package to a DPD pickup point. Address the package to:

Keep your shipping confirmation as proof of return shipment.

Step 4: Refund

After receiving and checking your return, we will refund the purchase amount (minus the return costs of €6.95) to the account you paid with. This happens within 4 business days of receiving your return.

Damaged or incorrect products

Did you receive damaged or wrong products? Please contact us as soon as possible at info@brewhunter.nl or via chat.

Please include clear photos of the damage or wrong products. In this case, the return costs are on us.
