How does BrewHunter's subscription system work?

Our subscription system works in four steps:

  1. Subscribe: Sign up for a release before the indicated deadline.
  2. Wait: After the deadline (~1 day) we assess whether we can reserve the release for you.
  3. Selection: We randomly select who gets to buy the release. Note: if selected, you are obligated to pay.
  4. Result: If you are selected, you are one of the lucky ones who gets to order the release.

If you weren't selected, don't worry! Keep an eye on the app for new releases.

What's the difference between regular beers and beers from the subscription system?

We have two types of beers in our range: beers that are directly available in the shop, and rare/exclusive beers you can subscribe to through our subscription system. For selected beers from the subscription system, you are obligated to purchase, while directly available beers can be added to or removed from your cart as you wish.

Orders

What does 'Non-Shippable Cart' mean?

If your selected beers are in the "Non-Shippable Cart", this means we have purchased the beers for you, but they are not yet ready for shipping. This can have several reasons:

  • The brewery is still brewing
  • The beers still need to be bottled
  • The beers are still at our supplier
  • The beers are on their way to our warehouse

We receive an indicative date from the brewery, but this may shift. We do our best to keep you informed of any changes.

Can I remove selected beers from my cart?

No, if you have been selected for a beer through the subscription system, you are obligated to purchase it. We buy these beers specially for you from the brewery - that's our concept. Beers that are directly available in the shop can be removed from your cart as you wish.

How long do items stay in my cart?

If you are not logged in and using the website, your cart items will be automatically removed after 12 hours to avoid reserving stock for too long. Logged-in users can keep items in their cart longer.

What if something is missing from my order?

Is something missing from your order? Please contact us as soon as possible at info@brewhunter.nl or via chat. We'll be happy to help!

Can I return my order?

For directly available products, a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days applies. Unfortunately, we cannot accept opened beer bottles for hygiene and food safety reasons.

Note: beers for which you were selected through the subscription system cannot be returned. These are ordered specially for you and therefore do not fall under the right of withdrawal.

Shipping

When will my order be shipped?

We pack our boxes on Sunday, Monday and Thursday. The next day the packages are picked up by DHL or PostNL, and one day later they are delivered to your home.

  • Packing Sunday: Pickup Monday, delivery Tuesday
  • Packing Monday: Pickup Tuesday, delivery Wednesday
  • Packing Thursday: Pickup Friday, delivery Saturday

How can I track my order?

You will receive a track & trace code on the evening before the carrier delivers your package. This message comes from DHL or PostNL and contains information about the exact date and time of delivery.

If you have problems with delivery, first contact the carrier via the track & trace information. If that doesn't work, you can always contact us.

What are the shipping costs?

We offer free shipping for all orders from €80 in the Netherlands and Belgium. For orders under €80, we charge a contribution of €5.95 for shipping within the Netherlands and Belgium.

Where is my order?

You can track your order with the track & trace code you receive from DHL or PostNL. If you have questions about delivery, please contact the carrier first. If you still need help after that, you can always contact us.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods, including iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact and PayPal. All payments are securely processed through our payment provider.

Referrals

How does the referral system work?

With our "Give 10, Get 10" referral system you can invite friends and earn rewards:

  1. Find your personal referral code in the BrewHunter app under "Settings"
  2. Share this code with friends
  3. When a friend uses this code when creating an account, you both receive a €10 credit
  4. The credit is automatically applied to your next order

Where can I find my referral code?

You can find your personal referral code in the BrewHunter app under "Settings", in the "Give 10 Get 10" section. If you were referred by a friend, you can add their referral code on the same screen.

When do I receive my referral credit?

Your referral credit is automatically applied to the next order you place after receiving the referral. The credit is automatically applied during the payment process.

What is CraftBoxs?

CraftBoxs is our sister brand that offers personalized beer packages on subscription. Every month you receive a selection of craft beers, tailored to your taste profile. CraftBoxs is run by the same team behind BrewHunter.

What is the difference between BrewHunter and CraftBoxs?

With BrewHunter, you choose exactly which beers to buy — ideal if you know what you want. CraftBoxs is for those who prefer to be surprised: you receive a personalized beer package every month based on your taste preferences. Both are run by the same team.
