About this release

A collaboration with Great Notion, brewed on a base of heavy wheat with a combination of oats and oat malt. Heavily whirlpooled with Citra and Idaho 7 and finished with a generous dry hop Galaxy. Juice = Juice pours a saturated milky orange-yellow and spreads big aromas of juicy tropical fruit. The taste follows with an exuberant mix of island fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice and thick peach notes, with a hint of thanks. A hoppy bite up front, a pillow-soft mouthfeel midway and a smooth, juicy finish make this beer extremely balanced and drinkable, rounded off by the characteristic #EQfinish with melon. This 8.5 percent strong IPA comes from Equilibrium Brewery, a brewery from New York founded by MIT scientists who approach brewing from a scientific perspective. Equilibrium is known worldwide for their excellent hazy IPAs with enormous hop aromas and a delightfully soft mouthfeel. The brewery's name refers to the balance they strive for in each beer, and that is clearly evident in this friendly drinkable 473ml package. The combination of the full body with the elegant hop bitterness and fruity aromas makes Juice = Juice an extremely balanced and accessible IPA for genre enthusiasts.
