Colorado Callin' is a West Coast Pilsner, brewed in collaboration with the friends of Westbound & Down by Seattle-based Fremont Brewing. This beer combines the refined approach of a traditional pilsner with the characteristic hoppiness of the American West Coast. The aromas are aromatic and enticing, with citrus and tropical fruit such as papaya, guava and melon as main notes. These are supported by green leaf tones, grainy notes, floral elements and a light resinous, danky hop character that tickles the nose. On the palate, this beer presents itself lightly sweet with a soft bitterness that remains perfectly balanced. The moderate, lingering hop finish provides a pleasant conclusion that continues to linger on the palate.
