About this release

A DDH Pale Ale from BEAK Brewery, part of an ongoing project with Faber Books where the labels are transformed into peel-and-reveal pages featuring powerful British literature. This particular bottle contains an excerpt from the brilliant book 'I Want You to Be Happy' by Jem Calder. BEAK is a leading English brewery from Lewes with a strong reputation in the British craft beer scene. The brewery is known for its soft, aromatic and hazy IPAs, with each creation featuring a characteristic, almost creamy texture. This beer is no exception to that rule. With an accessible alcohol content of 5%, this is a light and charming beer that is perfectly suited for a broad audience. The soft, juicy hop character that characterises BEAK's DDH beers takes centre stage. This is not an aggressive beer with dominant bitterness, but rather a friendly, elegant and flavourful brew that you'll recognise as BEAK's work. What makes this beer even more special is the artistic and minimalist branding attached to it. The label serves as part of a cultural project with publisher Faber Books, where literature and craft beer meet. Great beer, great words indeed.
