About this release

Annual green hop release in collaboration with the Harewood Food & Drink Project. Brewed with hop that came straight from the bine and went into the boil as quickly as possible, usually a mix of classic British hop varieties such as Fuggles and Challenger. Due to a season of cross-pollination, the exact hop composition is difficult to determine, but the result is a radiant, fruity flavour with a grassy aroma that cannot be matched with regular hop. Northern Monk, the progressive brewery from Leeds, creates something special with this Fresh From edition. Located in an iconic mill full of industrial heritage, the brewery is known for their high-quality beers and innovative collaborations. This green hop variant is a perfect example of that, with its 5.6% alcohol content an accessible yet characterful ale. The use of fresh hop directly from the plant gives this 440ml pack a unique quality. The grassy aroma and fruity flavour profile make this a beer you won't find all year round.
