About this release
Rijk, krachtig en met een fluweelzachte textuur. Barril is een gedurfde creatie, ergens tussen een imperial stout en een black barleywine. Zorgvuldig gerijpt gedurende 12 maanden in 40 jaar oude Rhum Clément- en cognacvaten, combineert dit uitzonderlijke bier de warmte van alcohol en tonen van leer met een subtiele zoetheid. Aroma's van gedroogd fruit, intense cacao en bruine suiker ontvouwen zich met houtachtige tonen, een vleugje vanille en een lange, warme en elegant likeurachtige afdronk. Een bier om langzaam van te nippen als digestief.
