Brewed in honor of 35 years of La Trappe Quadrupel, the world's very first Quadrupel in 1991, this Special Edition 2026 brings a richer and more pronounced interpretation of the original. This tribute to three decades of heritage comes from Brewery De Koningshoeven in Berkel-Enschot, one of the few official Trappist breweries in the world. Here, beer is brewed according to monastic traditions of tranquility, frugality and craftsmanship. Six different malt varieties, including various dark color malts, provide a deep color and warm caramel notes. Wheat and oat malt give the beer a round and soft mouthfeel. With 10.5% ABV, this is a full, smooth and warming Trappist that lends itself perfectly to slow enjoyment. The combination of ingredients creates a harmonious whole in which tradition and craft come together.
