Like a brilliant flash of morning light, this beer is a call to adventure in the wilderness. An excellent West Coast IPA that blurs the line between modern style and a reinvented classic, hopped with Citra, Strata, Strata Cryo, Idaho 7, Idaho 7 Cryo and Idaho 7 Dynaboost. Despite a somewhat hazy appearance, this is unmistakably a West Coast IPA, with the resinous bitterness of the hop front and center. The bitterness hits immediately, then finds balance in a slightly rounder mouthfeel that breaks through the hop like early morning light, a ray of sunshine that keeps drawing you back. This 7.0% ABV IPA comes from Brasserie Sir John Brewing Co., a Canadian brewery from Lachute, Quebec.
