About this release

For January they received a new harvest of Manilita, a new hop from Freestyle, and used it as a supporting hop alongside the ever-delightful Riwaka. The result is a robust DIPA with flavors of red berries, kumquat and some delightful tropical notes. This brewery from Caledon, Canada, has created with January DIPA a beer that perfectly suits ringing in the new year. With an alcohol content of 8.2 percent, this 473ml package offers a full, assertive flavor profile that is typical for a Double IPA. The hop bitterness is pleasantly balanced with the fruity characteristics, making the beer feel both accessible and impressive. The red berry and kumquat notes provide a refined acidity, while the tropical elements create a pleasant finish. January DIPA from Badlands is a beer for those who love hop-forward brewing without compromising drinkability. With an Untappd rating of 4.16 out of 5 stars, this beer proves that its reputation is well-deserved. Whether you're a hophead or simply looking for a solid DIPA to start the year with, this beer certainly delivers on its promise. A must-have for lovers of American-style IPAs.
