About this release

A special Grape Lambic from 3 Fonteinen, made with Roussanne grapes that have macerated for more than eight months in an oak barrel on lambic. This was then blended with four-year-old lambics, which make up more than 60% of the blend. The weighted average age at bottling is more than 31 months, with a fruit intensity of no less than 307 grams of grapes per liter. Brewery 3 Fonteinen from Beersel is respected worldwide for their mastery of traditional lambic and gueuze. Their knowledge of spontaneous fermentation and blending lambics of different ages results in beers with exceptional depth and complexity. This is clearly evident in this Grape Roussanne. Expect an elegant, wine-like lambic with notes of white grapes, flowers, honey, and a refined acidity. The prolonged maceration of the Roussanne grapes in oak barrels combined with the aged lambics creates a layered beer with character and elegance. This is a beer for lovers of craft lambic who appreciate subtlety and craftsmanship. With an alcohol content of 9.4% and a volume of 750ml, this is a worthy addition to your collection.
