Dovahkiin by Mad Scientist is a terrifying beer aged in Islay whisky barrels, a smoky Imperial Milk Stout with Habanero peppers. Like a dragon's roar, this monstrous brew arrives with smoke and fire and leaves no taste buds untouched. Nearly 2 years ago they brewed this beer with the concept of a chocolate-smoke-chili cream liqueur in mind. They used tons of lactose, the smokiest barrel they could find and added Habanero peppers for some heat and extra smoky flavor. Mad Scientist, the experimental Hungarian craft brewery from Budapest, creates beers where science and creativity come together. With a playful and exploratory approach, they have created a beer that is absolutely not for the faint-hearted. This limited edition brew combines the full, creamy texture of a Milk Stout with intense smoky characteristics and the sharp bite of Habanero peppers. The result is a complex beer with approximately 12.9% alcohol that really puts your palate to the test. This is a beer to enjoy in small portions, preferably around 11 degrees. The combination of whiskey barrel aging, lactose sweetness and chili heat makes Dovahkiin a unique experience for those who love experimental and intense flavors.
