About this release

A collaboration between BEAK Brewery from English Lewes and Hard Lines Roastery from Cardiff. This Imperial Stout is built on a rich, full stout base and brewed with 30 kg whole bean Ethiopian coffee beans. The washed Ethiopian beans bring brightness and lift, and enhance the caramel richness of the stout with delicate notes of peach and mandarin. BEAK Brewery is known for their artistic approach and distinctive, almost creamy texture in their beers, which lends itself excellently to this ambitious project. Percolate feels deep and smooth with a subtle liveliness that keeps drinking interesting. Bringing together two expert craftspeople, a renowned English brewery and a leading coffee roastery, results in a beer that elegantly bridges both worlds. At 10% alcohol, this is a full, rich Imperial Stout that seeks perfect balance between strength and finesse. The integration of the coffee feels natural and not overpowering, making Percolate a masterpiece for both coffee and stout lovers.
