The second filling of the barleywine in a 12-year-old Teaninich whisky barrel, a creation by Ukrainian brewery Varvar Brew from Kyiv. This filling is softer than the previous one, but still powerful with an alcohol content of 11.5 percent. The aroma brings maple syrup, cookies and orchard fruit, giving an enticing preview of what you can expect. On the palate, a sweet-leaning, warming and richly layered experience unfolds with complex whisky influences that linger long.
