A tribute to the famous Antwerp Red Star Line, this transatlantic amber-red beer is a fusion of typical Belgian brewing traditions and American craft beer influences. Brewed by the Antwerp Brouw Company with 100% malt, the grain bill consists of four different malt varieties, including wheat, for extra body and complexity. The beer is generously hopped with Belgian and American hops in five stages, including late hopping and dry-hopping, which ensures balanced bitterness and an aromatic finish. The characteristic flavor profile is further enhanced by the addition of ginger and coriander, which add a subtle warmth and spice notes. This strong amber ale is brewed with the historic Seefbier yeast and undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, resulting in lively carbonation and additional flavor layers. With an alcohol content of 7 percent and a volume of 330 milliliters, Seef's Bootjes Bier offers a full, characterful drink. This beer was awarded in 2016 as World's Best Belgian Style Pale Ale at the World Beer Awards, a recognition of the outstanding quality and unique blend of traditional and modern brewing techniques.
