A tropical collaboration with Dino and Mike from Vitamin Sea Brewing. Ocean Vibes starts with a base of 2-row, white wheat and oats, followed by a whirlpool of Citra and Idaho7. Subsequently dry-hopped with Citra, Galaxy and for the first time Sabro, with a hint of lactose for a creamsicle-like finish. Pours hazy opaque yellow with tropical notes of guava, pineapple, bright clementine and a hint of coconut from Sabro. This beer is the result of the expertise of Equilibrium Brewery, the renowned brewery from New York founded by MIT scientists. Equilibrium approaches brewing from a scientific perspective and is known worldwide for their characteristic hazy IPAs with enormous hop aromas and a soft mouthfeel. That philosophy of balance, which the name Equilibrium refers to, clearly comes through in Ocean Vibes. The velvety soft mouthfeel is creamy with a hint of chewiness, like a tropical push-pop ice cream combined with the characteristic EQjuice finish. With 8.0 percent alcohol and a volume of 473 milliliters, this is a beer you'll be happy to reach for during a moment of pure refreshment.
