About this release

A Triple-Oaked Barleywine collaboration with Revolution Brewing, which first aged for nine months in Estate Oak Rye barrels from WhistlePig Whiskey. After that we split the batch: half went into red wine barrels from Herman Story, the rest into new French oak staves inside WhistlePig barrels, for another three months of extra aging. The result is a complex barleywine with notes of rye whiskey, red wine, vanilla, toffee, licorice, and dark fruit. This ambitious brew came from a collaboration between two American breweries with a passion for craftsmanship. Firestone Walker Brewing Company from Paso Robles, California worked together with Revolution Brewing on this impressive édition. The triple aging in different oak types makes this beer a truly epic triple-aged brew for the serious enthusiast. With an alcohol percentage of 11.8 percent, this is a full, richly balanced barleywine with a complex flavor profile that you enjoy in the convenient 355ml format.
