About this release

Banishing 1 is the first brew in our new Banishing series. This series focuses on IPAs with that little bit of extra 'oomph'. The ABV has been bumped up to 7% instead of our usual 6.5% for single IPAs, and these beers are Double Dry Hopped with more hops than usual. For this first edition we brewed with oats and wheat and hopped intensively with Peacharine, Mosaic and CIP076. This beer delivers soft notes of sweet peach, papaya, ripe nectarine and fresh blueberries. Third Moon Brewing Company from Canadian Milton brings a fresh statement to the IPA world with Banishing 1. This 473ml bottle contains a full 7% alcohol, giving this single IPA a robust character. The Double Dry Hop technique ensures extra hop intensity and complexity, while the combination of oats and wheat creates a silky smooth body. The Peacharine, Mosaic and CIP076 hops work together in a fruity orchestra of sweet peach, papaya, ripe nectarine and fresh blueberries. Banishing 1 is the perfect starting point for anyone looking for an IPA with that little bit more punch, without losing sight of subtlety.
