About this release
A magnificent English Barleywine with 11.0% alcohol, aged 24 months in bourbon barrels. Brewed by Jackie O's Brewery from Athens, United States, this beer follows the 'less is more' philosophy with one premium English barley variety and one English hop. Brown sugar added during the extended boil creates layers of toffee, soft caramel and dried dark fruit. The result is a smooth, rich and full character in which the influence of the bourbon barrels comes through subtly. Time Beyond Time is a complex beer that lends itself perfectly to slow sipping and enjoyment. This 355ml bottle offers a nice preview of what this craft brewery has to offer. A true classic for lovers of full, traditional Barleywines.
