De Poes Stowt is a tribute to the English beer style Stout, a powerful brown beer with plenty of character. This beer is brewed by Deca Brouwerij, a renowned family brewery from Ypres, Belgium, which has distinguished itself for generations through traditional Belgian beers of high quality. De Poes Stowt is brewed with top fermentation and undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle. It is characterized by typical flavors of chocolate and roasted malt, with a hint of coffee in the lightly bitter finish. This beer with an alcohol content of 7.5% is brewed with a carefully composed combination of barley, roasted barley, oat flakes and English Golding hops. The brewing process involves a boiling time of 120 minutes, during which hops are added three times during the boil. This creates a balanced and full-flavored drinking experience. De Poes Stowt is easy to recognize by its blue label and blue cap, on which there is always a playful remark from the brewer. The beer carries on an interesting and characterful beer heritage, perfect for lovers of traditional Belgian stouts. Best serving temperature: 8 degrees Celsius.
