Eggens Quadrupel barrel-aged, matured for approximately 1092 days in very old cognac barrels sourced from a distillery in Charente. Through this extended maturation, nearly three years, the Quadrupel has been able to fully absorb the character of the barrel and take in all the flavors from the old cognac cask. The result is a beer with beautiful complex flavors and great depth, without the sharp edges you would normally expect from young beer.
