Double Barrel Aged Barleywine at no less than 17.2%. This exceptional barleywine matured for nearly three years in freshly emptied whisky barrels and was subsequently blended with a one-year-old Munich wine from another whisky barrel. The result is a layered masterpiece with intense flavors of Belgian pralines, burnt sugar, rich caramel and pronounced vanilla. Complex oak notes, red wine-like tannins and a hint of tobacco complete this deep red barleywine. Patient barrel aging craftsmanship without additives, purely through the power of time and craft. Dogggod comes from the cellar of Firstep, a Slovak brewery based in Bratislava dedicated to renewing the local beer culture with modern and flavorful craft beers.
