Inspired by Czech tradition: our Pilsner is light in colour and body with a clean, bitter finish. Czech Saaz hops provide soft floral and grassy aromas. A deceptively difficult style to brew, and we've worked hard to perfect our version of this restrained lager. With this Pilsner, Five Boroughs has created a classic that respects authentic Czech brewing craftsmanship. The result is a refined lager with a pleasantly balanced bitterness that is not overwhelming, but rather brings out the fine nuances of the brewing process. The soft, floral character of the Saaz hops comes through elegantly and gives the beer a refreshing grassy finish. With an alcohol content of 5.0 percent and the compact format of 355 millilitres, this is a perfect beer for those who love classic flavours without unnecessary frills.
