In March, Galway Bay Brewery dove into her recipe books in search of ideas for the ultimate sessionable stout recipe. Here is Ostara Stout, Galway Bay's take on the concept of 'Dublin Stout'. Brewed to be complex yet drinkable. They used some imperial stout tricks and adapted them to a lower ABV base recipe. The result is a layered malt with delicious soft chocolate notes, finished with a nice hop to cleanse the palate. The Irish brewery from Oranmore is known for their award-winning beers and forms a cornerstone of the modern Irish craft beer scene. With a modest alcohol content of 5.0 percent, Ostara is perfect for those who like to slowly enjoy a good beer without too much alcohol.
