Lervig tells: "We often set aside a few exceptional barrels from earlier batches to use in our Off the Rack series. This year we used a couple of aged barrels from 2022 and 2023. Because they tasted amazing, we decided to create an Off the Rack blend of vintages for this edition. We took our best barrels with the higher alcohol content, caused by the evaporation of the angel's share during the year in Jim Beam barrels, and infused these with the nearly three-year-old Heaven Hill aged Paragon 22. There are many deeper notes of caramel and toffee, dried fruit and even a subtle hint of licorice, with a delightful mouthfeel that fills your palate with a warm, oaky bourbon flavor."
