Powerful, silky-smooth Doppelbock in which ripe dark fruits, thick caramel and a subtle hint of beechwood-smoked malt come together. Deep notes of dried fruit such as figs and plums are supported by syrupy caramel and a warm, light smoky note reminiscent of a crackling fireplace. Full, creamy and grand in body, with a malt sweetness of roasted nuts and pure chocolate, balanced by the warm alcoholic glow of 12%. The finish is long, elegant and slightly dry, with lingering smoky wood notes and caramel. Dominator is a brew by Menno Olivier Brewing, the Spanish project of Menno Olivier, founder of the Dutch brewery De Molen. In Súria he brews craft beers with the same expertise and brewing style for which he is known in the Netherlands, now applied in a new and inspiring environment.
