Our bourbon barrel-aged double bock. Extended barrel aging smooths out the sharp edges of roasted malts and brings extra complexity and depth. This ambitious beer from Norwegian Salikatt from Stavanger is a fine example of their craftsmanship and creativity. With an alcohol content of 10.2%, this 375ml bottle proves that this brewery is known not only for hoppy styles, but also masterfully handles more complex, barrel-aged creations. The bourbon barrel-aging gives this strong beer extra characterful nuances and suppleness. The prolonged barrel aging ensures that the intensity of the roasted malts comes into fine balance and the beer thereby gains a refined composition with many layers. This is a beer to enjoy and to think about, preferably at the recommended serving temperature of around 14°C. An excellent choice for lovers of ambitious, full-bodied beers with character. Enjoy!
