Double Mashed Triple IPA with an impressive hop bombardment. Nectaron and Talus bring nectarine, pineapple, coconut and pink grapefruit, while Citra and Mosaic provide extra tropical fruit and fresh citrus. The complex malt base with oats, rye, wheat, rice and corn gives a soft, almost chewy body. Heavy and intense at 9%, but dangerously easy to drink. This special beer is part of the 10 Years Celebration from Moersleutel Craft Brewery from Alkmaar, a brewery that has distinguished itself through their bold and large-scale beers. With this Liftoff they celebrate their anniversary with a Triple IPA that makes no compromises. The hop bombardment is impressive and multidimensional, with four hop varieties working together for an explosion of tropical and citrusy flavours. The malt base is equally complex as the hop, with an interesting combination of oats, rye, wheat, rice and corn that results in a full, soft-feeling body that contrasts with the intensity of the bitterness. Despite the substantial alcohol percentage of 9%, this beer goes down surprisingly easily. A real recommendation for hop lovers who are not afraid of full, complex flavours. 440ml bottle.
