The annual moment that every Nøgne Ø fan looks forward to is in sight again. Last year they launched the Dark Horizon editions, this time it's time for Nordic Noir. With Nordic Noir, Nøgne Ø, the renowned Norwegian brewery from Grimstad founded in 2002, has set the standard for the 'Norwegian Strong Ale'. Each time released in multiple variants and this time the Nordic Noir 3 has been released as the base beer and two Barrel Aged variants. They will all score well into the 4s on Untappd again and it has now become an annual phenomenon to compare the different Barrel Aged variants and the base beer with each other. The Brandy Barrel Aged variant of the Nordic Noir 3 offers extra depth and complexity with rich notes from brandy barrels.
