About this release

An exceptional barrel-aged blend of brews from the winter of 2022/2023, from English Mills Brewing in Berkeley. This complex beer is brewed with traditionally floor-malted rye, Maris Otter and aged hops. Fermentation and maturation took place in ex-bourbon whiskey and white Burgundy casks, giving the beer character and depth. With an average beer age of 25 months at bottling, followed by another four months of bottle conditioning, this is clearly a beer where patience and craftsmanship come together. The result is a profound beer with notes of wood, vanilla, ripe fruit and a subtle acidity that are perfectly balanced. At 5.8% ABV and 330ml per bottle, Running Beer Blend #13 is a refined beer for those seeking something special.
