About this release

Porter based on Anspach & Hobday's London Black Porter, an absolute classic. This porter is brewed with a generous dose of Mosaic hop and a special decoction malt for extra depth. The result is a clean, aromatic porter with modern hop character combined with traditional porter flavour. The North Sea Porter comes from To Øl, a Danish gypsy brewery from Svinninge known for their adventurous and boundary-pushing beers. The brewery, founded by students of Mikkel Borg Bjergsø of Mikkeller, has built a reputation with an enormous portfolio of experimental and flavourful creations. This clearly comes through in this porter, where classic brewing tradition and modern hop usage meet in perfect harmony. With an alcohol content of 6.0 percent and available in a 440ml bottle, this is an easily drinkable porter that doesn't feel too heavy. The decoction malt provides extra depth and complexity, while the Mosaic hop adds a fresh, aromatic element to the dark, smoky base that characterises porters. This is a beer that combines tradition and innovation, ideal for lovers of classic porter styles looking for something extra.
