About this release

Belgian Quadrupel with a powerful alcohol content of 10.2%. The roasted malt provides rich aromas, while raisins and chocolate give the flavor profile a full and complex character. The malty, lightly sweet and warming beer is nicely balanced on the finish by a subtle hop bitterness. A characterful Quadrupel to enjoy at leisure. Van Hoppen has created with this Quadrupel a beer that excellently expresses all the typical characteristics of this classic Belgian style. With its full body and rich flavor layers, this is a beer best tasted in a quiet moment, when you really have the time to appreciate the complexity. The balance between the sweeter notes of raisin and chocolate and the subtle hop bitterness creates a finish that doesn't feel heavy despite the high alcohol content of 10.2 percent. The 330ml bottle offers you the perfect amount for a moment of contemplation. This is not a beer to pass by, but rather a full tasting experience that demands and appreciates your attention. Ideal for lovers of authentic Belgian breweries and for those who enjoy full, aromatic beers.
