Pedestal is their single hop beer line. They isolate one particularly delicious hop and place it high on a hazy pedestal so your taste buds can enjoy all of its isolated, lupuline-filled glory. They use their house yeast, the same malt/water profile and change only one thing: the hop. This version showcases the Nectaron hop from Freestyle Hops, a hop they know well but have never used from their primary NZ hop supplier. Pure Nectaron expression in unbridled glory. This 6.5% ABV beer from Canadian brewery Badlands from Caledon is a perfect showcase for what this special hop has to offer. By further simplifying the ingredients and varying only the hop, you gain insight into the unique characteristics of Nectaron without distracting elements.
