About this release

The very first edition of the Einstein beer series started with a barrel of Einstein's Favorite, served during Energy Evolution Day 2019, a beer inspired by one of Einstein's favorite desserts, Sticky Orange Cake. Since then, the series has grown with various ingredients across multiple styles. When Equilibrium Brewery wondered how they could scale up for Energy Evolution Day 2021, there was one clear answer: an Imperial Stout version of Einstein's Yellow Cake. This is an 11% Imperial Stout aged on coconut, marshmallow and orange peel, pouring pitch black with a very thick body and a caramel-colored foam head. Intense aromas of fudge and creamy marshmallow fluff with a balanced amount of orange marmalade. Einstein's Extravagance is extremely decadent with a creamy finish and a harmonious interplay of flavors. Equilibrium Brewery from Middletown, New York, approaches brewing from a scientific perspective, founded by MIT scientists who are world-renowned for their innovative approach to beer brewing. With the same ingredients and Einstein's love for desserts in mind, this 500ml bottle becomes a tribute to the universal genius. This beer is where Albert Einstein himself would have been proud: a perfect balance between decadence and refinement that Equilibrium strives for in all their creations.
