A unique barrel-aged cuvee combining an imperial oatmeal stout, brewed with licorice root and aged on cinnamon bark in 10-year-old bourbon barrels, with an exclusively brewed imperial stout. Finished with orange peel and plenty of cacao nibs for a chocolate-like orange treat with seductive notes of anise and cinnamon. Brewed with 2-Row Pale, Vienna, Midnight Wheat, Flaked Oats, Roast Barley, smoked malt and more, hopped with Magnum, US Golding, Chinook and Willamette. On the nose chocolate, cacao, toffee and molasses alongside candied citrus, fig and spices. Full and thick bodied, medium carbonation and warming, without astringency. This exceptional beer comes from Fremont Brewing from Seattle, an American brewery that distinguishes itself through their strong focus on sustainability and community.
