About this release
Bastian is a Franconian Lager, specially brewed for Oktoberfest. This classic style follows an old world standard and is brewed with Saaz hop, refined for the modern drinker. The result is a crisp, refreshing and traditional beer that captures the essence of Oktoberfest. Funky Fluid, the brewery behind Bastian, is based in Warsaw and is known for its intense and experimental beers. While they are masters at brewing heavily fruited sour beers, creamy pastry sours and powerfully hopped IPAs, they prove with this Lager that they can also master classic styles with finesse. Funky Fluid is one of the most popular and boundary-pushing breweries in Poland, which makes this interpretation of a traditional German lager extra interesting. With an alcohol content of 4.5 percent, Bastian is an excellent choice for those looking for a traditional yet refined lager. The beer combines the characteristic beauty of the Franconian Lager style with modern brewing expertise. The 500 milliliter bottle is perfect for Oktoberfest or simply for when you fancy a real classic, a moment when you can truly enjoy authentically traditional beer that is interpreted in a subtle way by a contemporary brewery.
