About this release

Queenless is a bourbon barrel aged honey stout with an impressive 15.8% ABV, built to survive every evening. This imposing beer comes from the kitchens of Ghost Town and is a true powerhouse for lovers of full, complex stouts. Honey runs throughout the entire beer, floral and dark at the same time, and thickens the body while pushing the sweetness deep into the roast. The barrel imparts vanilla, char and a long, warm bourbon finish that slowly fades. Underneath, dark chocolate and espresso keep the weight in check and provide balance in this full beer. Syrupy, sweet and enormous, Queenless is perfect for winter evenings or as a meal closer. The name says it all: a beehive without a queen just keeps working, and this beer does the same. The honey keeps coming in every sip. With 473ml per bottle you have plenty of opportunity to discover this special beer step by step and enjoy its many layers.
