About this release

A luxurious collaboration between Jackie O's and the friends of Little Fish Brewing. In March 2024, this stout was brewed using the historic parti-gyle technique: the strongest wort went to Jackie O's, while the second runnings traveled to Little Fish for their own Dark Mild Ale 'Hit Clips'. After 22 months of aging in New York AppleJack barrels, a unique choice that provides fruity, apple-like undertones woven together with rich dark malt, 'In the Neighborhood' was born. A joint blending session with the Little Fish team resulted in this special, layered and characterful beer that reflects the friendship and creativity of both breweries. With an impressive alcohol content of 15.7 percent, this is a full, intense stout that invites meditative enjoyment. Jackie O's Brewery from American Athens has built an international reputation with their artisanal approach and experimental spirit, which is perfectly reflected in this collaboration. The beer combines the rigor of a well-balanced stout with those striking apple notes the barrel imparted, making it feel both classic and innovative.
