Imperial Stout brewed with vanilla and cacao in collaboration with Azvex. This stout was boiled for 24 hours for intense caramelization and was then cold infused with Tonka beans, hand-processed vanilla pods and a generous amount of Willie's cacao nibs. A full, creamy stout with deep flavors to celebrate Pomona Island's 7th birthday. This Imperial Stout with 11 percent alcohol is a collaboration between Pomona Island Brew Co. from English Salford and Azvex. Pomona Island is known for their broad range of styles and their spirit of discovery, which is clearly reflected in this complex creation. The 24-hour boil ensures intense caramelization, while the cold infusion of Tonka beans, hand-processed vanilla pods and Willie's cacao nibs provides depth and character. The result is a full, creamy stout with layered flavors that perfectly suits the brewery's anniversary celebration.
