A grand imperial stout, patiently aged for 18 months in ex-bourbon barrels for the ultimate blend. The result is a complex and flavorful stout with notes of chocolate, vanilla, raisins and roasted malt. This special beer comes from the kitchens of Salikatt, a Norwegian brewery from Stavanger that has made a name for itself with high-quality and modern beers. Alongside their well-known hoppy styles such as IPAs and Pale Ales, Salikatt has also built a growing reputation with sour beers and refined barrel-aged creations like this Barrel Aged Christmas 2026. With an alcohol content of 14 percent, this beer offers a full, warm experience that perfectly suits the festive season. The prolonged aging in bourbon has given the beer depth and character, with subtle vanilla and chocolate notes harmoniously coming together with the full, roasted malt base.
