About this release

Cherry Season is a mixed fermentation beer brewed in 2023 that matured for no less than 36 months in oak barrels. During this period, the beer developed a rich complexity thanks to Brettanomyces and lactic acid bacteria. In collaboration with Norwegian sour beer masters from Lindheim Ølkompani, the beer was finished with local cherries and raspberries, resulting in a lively and fruity sour beer. This special collaboration project between Salikatt and Lindheim showcases the expertise of both breweries in the field of fermented, complex beers. Salikatt, located in the Norwegian city of Stavanger, is known for its high-quality, modern brewing craft and has made a name for itself with inventive sour beers and barrel-aged creations. By collaborating with Lindheim, a recognized specialist in sour beer technique, a beer full of character and finesse was created.
