Amer-Amer from Brouwerij de Ranke is an American IPA with a Belgian twist. We have chosen two American hop varieties, but only hop flowers grown in Belgium. The 'Belgo-American' hops offer a better balance in flavors and a less aggressive bitterness, without loss of flavor or intensity. By dry-hopping with Cascade, the beer gets its rich aroma. A harmonious fusion of Belgian and American brewing traditions. This 6.0% strong beer from the Belgian Dottignies proves that innovation and tradition go very well together. The brewers of De Ranke have developed a unique concept in which locally grown American hop varieties determine the character. The result is an IPA that matches its American predecessors in terms of intensity, but possesses a refined and pleasant bitterness. At a serving temperature of 7 degrees, the full flavor palette comes into its own optimally.
