An absolute masterpiece of 13.8% from Barclay Brewing Co. in North Haven. This Double Stout blend first spent 12 months in Buffalo Trace barrels and then 18 months in 9-year-old Willett Family Estate barrels. Conditioned on four types of vanilla: Indonesian, Madagascar, Tahitian and Mexican. The result is a refined and complex stout that is absolutely worth the time spent in the various barrels. The long aging in premium whiskey wood has given this beer a depth that you simply don't encounter on a daily basis. With four different vanilla varieties that each bring their own character, a harmonious and luxurious drinking experience emerges. This is liquid luxury in a 500ml bottle.
