This ambitious beer comes from Norwegian brewery Salikatt, based in Stavanger, which has made a name for itself with high-quality and modern beers. Black Silk matured for 18 months in ex-bourbon barrels, during which it developed a complex character with deep malt flavors, warm vanilla and walnut notes, and a soft, creamy mouthfeel. Finished with cacao nibs and vanilla beans for an extra layer of depth.
